Destin's Crab Island
Take one of our pontoon rental boats to Crab Island. It takes about 1-1.5 hours to drive to Destin from 30a (Santa Rosa Beach Area). Why not take a pontoon rental boat in Santa Rosa Beach. Depending on the boat, weather, wind, etc. you can get to Crab Island by pontoon rental boat in 35-55 minutes. Plus you get to enjoy the water. Crab Island in Destin isn't really an Island. It's a very shallow and beautiful body of crystal clear blue water where boats anchor and play for the day.
The Famous LuLu's
The Famous Lulu's in Destin is owned by Jimmy Buffett's sister. This is not only a super fun destination, they actually have good food. Lulu's is located is the mid point between Santa Rosa Beach and Destin's Famous Crab Island. LuLu's in Destin is only 15-20 minutes by boat from Crab Island or Santa Rosa Beach. It's fun for kids and adults. They do not have a dock. Pontoon Rental boats have to drop anchor and walk in very shallow water.

Destin is known as the World's Luckiest Fishing Village. The Destin Marina has been the place fishing charters have docked for years. Although it's difficult to find a place to park a pontoon rental boat, it's fun to drive through that area and see the beautiful boats, shops, houses, etc. It's only 3-5 minutes from Crab Island and only 34-55 minutes from Santa Rosa Beach.
